The sophomore album from the Nick Foster Band, ‘Rise’ is a sprawling effort of lyrically driven songs that at times offer an expansive psychedelic rock sound and at times diffuse into a close immediacy. Performed by Nick Foster, Skyler Mehal, Dan Tyack, Jazmarae Beebe, Charles Wicklander, Matt Strutynski, Tom Noble, Natalie Hall, and Heather Thomas. All songs written by Nick Foster; ‘The Mountain’ with Skyler Mehal and Pauline Wick; ‘Long After’ with Charles Wicklander and Skyler Mehal; ‘Memory’ with Skyler Mehal; and ‘Let Go Gracefully’ with Dillon Warnek. Produced by Brandon Busch and Nick Foster. Recorded and mixed at Avast! Recording Co. and Sound Media Productions by Brandon Busch, with assistant engineers Adam Burd and Jay Follette.
